We are looking for a skilled, bright, proactive Purchasing and Sourcing Manager, who may cooperate with BONETTI Suzhou in its daily purchasing activities, sourcing in the local Chinese market Duties and responsabilities: - Understanding Bonetti Suzhou and Cesare Bonetti range of products, their technical specifications, materials, characteristics
- According to the production planning activity and under the direct control of the GM, accomplish all the task of daily planning, negotiation – payment terms, contract management
- Follow up all the activity related to the purchasing management, verifying proper material / service incoming schedule and payment
- Have a seamless link with the production and quality department to ensure correct material and service arrival, performance and specifications
- Source the local market, finding new potential suppliers based on the materials / products we are looking for
- Survey the market for substitutes or alternatives of current suppliers, to make sure we may have better quality, service or price based on the time to time needs.
Skills : - Engineering background is necessary (5+ years )
- Previous valves, high pressure fluid application background experience is a plus (3+ years)
- Good understanding of production processes as forging, casting, machining for steel alloys and similar
- Purchasing / sourcing driven previous experience in similar field is a must (3+ years)
- Knowledge of steel alloys market, sourcing and negotiation
- Good command of spoken and written English
